Brian is a pure experimental artist as demonstrated in the displayed artwork. Trying diverse techniques, working with diferent brushes, papers and ink and most important letting the hazard playing with the composition. The result? A strange and unique texture in between mineral and vegetal. Who knows? In 3 words: I LOVE IT.

Note from the artist
This series I call "capillary", because here I exploited the remarkable phenomenon of capillary attraction. This demonstrates the effects of using a soft brush and varying degrees of pressure to encourage Indian ink to disperse in sandwich with diverse kinds of Japanese papers, tissue or transparent foil. These works will remain absolutely unique, since there is an element of hazard. The intricately fine detail is best appreciated at a close distance.
