The CultureInside Project

CULTUREINSIDE ® (www.cultureinside.com) is a new content and portal site and has its headquarter in Luxembourg. Its concept is to become the professional online guide for the young unknown artists and mid-carrer artists whose art has been rarely or never shown on the world wide web. The target public is the Grand Region and European Union in a 1st step by focussing especially on the upcoming cultural efforts in the new EU Member States. Nevertheless we directlly include a small international section which is planned to develop into a worldwide network (US, Japan...). The impact of this scope is to create a website with an active and innovative forum based on an state-of-the-art-technology. Information will be available in English, French and German.

CULTUREINSIDE defines itself as a content site and portal promoting the art of young and unseen mid-career artists of different genres.
The principal goal is to provide the artists with a variety of state-of-the-art internet services necessary for their success in this important new media.

CULTUREINSIDE engages business dialogue at the intersection of the arts and business. Hereby CI has a very concrete and measurable vision: the success of each artist to show and sell his art on the worldwide web by getting contact to european- and worldwide customers / galleries and selling in the traditional way or via Internet (by e-selling his work on the "Gate C Online Market". As in the new EU Member States a lot of new cultural initiatives happen, we see especially here a big need of these artists to get all possibilities to competition through the newest technology.

CULTUREINSIDE engages intercultural dialogue at the intersection of the art interested and art community. This means it offers cultural news, information, critics and forums to the public to come in contact with the artists. The portal offers the forum to bring artists together and promote their professional exchange and synergies. And last but not least, links to the cultural events will recommend you to the cultural agenda sites in the Grand Region and European Union.

"The creative process is a kind of dialogue between myself and the medium. Having worked for years in the language and communication field, there was a moment in my time in Chicago, language changed into visual language. The combination of several art techniques - the traditional ones (in particular drawing and painting) and the digital tool - became my medium. Focusing on color and composition, structures as well as patterns, I am connecting and expanding ideas in a visual way. In my recent work, I add to my pictures a new dimension: Fibers and forms are running through, are multiplied and manipulated to catch the beauty and fascination in these elements. In my photographic work I want to simplify the view of our environment, to show the beauty around, to make feel the fascination and daily personal adventure. So, I am working on new art series connecting and expanding ideas by catching short stories in pictures based on everyday life. My personal engagement in art is to make our environment visible."
