"I am basically self-taught in the sense that I have not studied art formally or professionally, only participated in various workshops throughout the years. At the same time I have spent many hours reading on the history of Art and looking at pictures of great masters, hoping that some of their spirit may shine on me. In this sense I am not completely an autodidact. Art is a form of self-knowledge, for individuals who feel the urge to practice it and for society as whole when reflecting upon its own culture and institutions. As such, the process is never-ending."
