Nicole Muchnik - Soldiers of various war

Brian is a pure experimental artist as demonstrated in the displayed artwork. Trying diverse techniques, working with diferent brushes, papers and ink and most important letting the hazard playing with the composition. The result? A strange and unique texture in between mineral and vegetal. Who knows? In 3 words: I LOVE IT.

Note from the artist

This series I call "capillary", because here I exploited the remarkable phenomenon of capillary attraction. This demonstrates the effects of using a soft brush and varying degrees of pressure to encourage Indian ink to disperse in sandwich with diverse kinds of Japanese papers, tissue or transparent foil. These works will remain absolutely unique, since there is an element of hazard. The intricately fine detail is best appreciated at a close distance.

Mirza Ajanovic - Das Jenseits

Bird Symbolism and Spirituality.
"There the sun doesn’t shine, or the moon, or the stars, nor any earthly fire...
In Its light, invisible; in a secret place,
In the heart It resides." [Mirza Ajanovic]

Christiane Guilleminot - Hivernale 1

In this image Christine realizes a perfect digital post-production of the initial photo.
The trees in the background, when you are zooming, start to be themselves the edges of a new fractal landscape.
In the front, the subtle adjustment of the color palette transforms the flowers in abstract shapes reinforcing the overall composition.
Hivernale 1 is a picture with multiple facets. A great artwork!

When a white egg is shot in black and white it seems that the egg is the center of the universe. So we have the response to the question "who came the first...."

Marc Montméat - Miroir

This photo of Marc Montméat (Miroir) is simply a pure jewel! The precision and the details of the water and the reflection of the girl are perfect. Outside technical perfection, this image brings a deep emotion to the surface. Remember when you were young...

Iliana Tosheva - Lake Surface

"I like my sea mustard yellow, green and brown rather than blue and silver grey.
I like my pebbles black, brown, red and white.
I like my trees black even when they are not.

I have been exploring human face, urban ‘distortion’ and the ‘weird’ presence of nature wherever and whenever least expected - a blend I find particularly fascinating."

Marc Montméat - La croisée des chemins

Marc Montméat (Winner of Paris Photo 2009) is an emerging talent taking his place in the top Art photographers.
It's not difficult to understand why.
His vision is always disturbing, showing simple ideas with simple point of view. Evident?
When I look to "la croisée des chemins" my impression is, what does Marc exactly means. Until my focus goes to the center of the photo and I see the man just at the cross of the road.
That's it, that's Marc Montméat !
This photo indeed is not a "instant shot". I suppose that it tools a long preparation to get this result. But who cares?
